An Illinois lawyer was suspended from the practice of law, among other things, for entering into a business transaction from a client in violation of Rule of Professional Conduct 1.8(a) when he borrowed $35,000 from a man whom he had represented in the dissolution of his marriage and in the sale of the marital residence.
